The product, "Profiled aluminium nail for use in timber structures", is a specific nail made of aluminium EN AW-5019 according to EN 573-31, The minimum tensile strength of the wire is 410 N/mm2, The geometry fulfills the requirements of EN 14592, see Figure 1. The fastener is produced in diameters from 2.5 mm to 4.2 mm. The minimum length of the profiled aluminium nails is 45 mm, the maximum length is 70 mm.

What is an EAD?什么是EAD？

A European Assessment Document, or EAD for short, is a harmonised technical specification developed by EOTA as the basis for European Technical Assessments (ETAs).上海郜盟提示欧洲评估文件（简称EAD）是由欧洲技术认证组织（EOTA）制定的统一技术规范，作为欧洲技术评估（ETA）的基础。

In combination with the ETA, the EAD provides manufacturers with a way to CE marking for construction products that are not or not fully covered by a harmonised European standard (hEN) under the Construction Products Regulation (EU) 305/2011. The CE marking allows the manufacturer to freely market his product in the entire European Economic Area as well as in Switzerland and Turkey.
